🗑️ Personal Data Deletion in SuperNova

As part of GDPR compliance, SuperNova allows users to delete their accounts and anonymize their personal data. This ensures that all personally identifiable information is randomized, including:
✔ Username, Full Name, Birth Date
✔ Phone Numbers, Email, Location
✔ Contact Details, Address, Communications
✔ Leads, Opportunities, and other saved details

⚠️ Note: Some data required by law may be retained.

📌 How to Request Account Deletion

1️⃣ Visit: [your-company-url]/request-for-account-deletion (e.g., supernova.com/request-for-account-deletion).
2️⃣ Enter the email associated with your account.
3️⃣ Submit your request and receive a confirmation message.
4️⃣ Check your email for a verification link.
5️⃣ Click the link to confirm deletion.

✅ Once confirmed, your personally identifiable data will be anonymized.

📄 How the Deletion Process Works

Every deletion request is logged under "Personal Data Deletion Request" and goes through three stages:

🔵 Pending Verification – The user has submitted the request but has not yet verified it via email.
🟡 Pending Approval – The request is verified, and the System Manager can now approve the deletion.
🟢 Deleted – The System Manager has deleted the data, and all personally identifiable details have been anonymized.

⚙️ Setting an SLA for Data Deletion Requests

You can configure a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for deletion requests in Website Settings:

1️⃣ Go to Website Settings.
2️⃣ Scroll to Account Deletion Settings.
3️⃣ Set the SLA (days) for processing deletion requests.
4️⃣ Enable "Show Account Deletion link in My Account" to make the request form accessible from the user's My Account page.

This ensures transparency and compliance while giving users full control over their personal data.
