🔄 Bulk Renaming of Records in VinAR-ERP

Need to rename multiple records at once? SuperNovaVinAR-ERP makes it easy with Bulk Renaming!

📌 Renaming a Single Record

You can rename individual records (if allowed) by:
1️⃣ Opening the record.
2️⃣ Clicking on Menu > Rename.
3️⃣ Entering the new name and saving the changes.

📁 Renaming Multiple Records Using the Rename Tool

For renaming many records at once, use the Rename Tool:

1️⃣ Go to: Home > Settings > Rename Tool.
2️⃣ Upload a CSV file with:

• Column 1: Old names.
• Column 2: New names.
  3️⃣ Click "Rename", and the records will be updated.

✅ This method is perfect for bulk renaming without manually updating each record!

🔗 Merging Duplicate Records

SuperNovaVinAR-ERP also allows merging duplicate records while renaming.

For example, if you have a customer named Steve and a duplicate Steve1, you can:
1️⃣ Open either record.
2️⃣ Click Menu > Rename.
3️⃣ Tick the "Merge with existing" checkbox.

📌 Result? Both records merge into one, along with all their linked data.
